Moose

In addition to offering moose as a second option while hunting deer, we also offer moose hunts in one of Alberta's most remote and noted trophy bull areas. This is a fly-in hunt, within approximately 20 miles of the Northwest Territories border.

Although still classified as Canadian moose (south of the 60th parallel), bulls in this region demonstrate the truly awesome size of the Alaska/Yukon species. Hunters should expect opportunities at 50" plus bulls. Bulls up to 68" have been taken from this area in the past.

Our lakeshore camp offers easy access to many miles of shoreline and river drainages. Northern Pike and Walleye fishing is available right from camp and purchasing a black bear license is more than a good idea. The hunt takes place during the prime of the rut, from late September to early October.
