South Paw Outfitters Ltd. has been outfitting since 1992, with a long standing reputation for producing quality deer.  Located in west central Alberta, approximately 1½ hours from the Edmonton International Airport, we border Alberta’s world famous archery zone.  A combination of first class accommodations, quality guides and an intimate knowledge of our hunting area all ensure that you have a great experience.  Our percentage of repeat clientele speaks for itself at a rate of over 70%.  Many of our clients are celebrating more than a dozen years of hunting with South Paw Hunting has always been an important part of both our lives.  We feel fortunate that the majority of our hunters are repeat clients. From the time you arrive until you have to leave, we are committed to taking care of every detail to provide you with a very memorable experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.                                                              Hunting methods vary depending on the area, weather and rut activity.  Our best success comes from the heated blinds, but we also use tree stands and rattling.  Hunters can expect shot opportunities at 140 class deer and better and if you are prepared to be selective,  there is potential for a 200+ class buck.  Because of the diverse nature of our hunting area, we are also able to offer a combination hunt, including mule deer, elk and moose.  The majority of our hunts are six days, however you do have the option to extend your trip.                                         Our accommodations consist of over 5,000 square feet at your disposal and we open our home and guest lodge to you. We focus on your complete comfort and care, ensuring first class meals and accommodations.   While you may arrive as a client, our goal is that you leave as a friend.                                           Alberta truly offers the opportunity for a very unique and rewarding hunting experience and we look forward to sharing this experience with you.  As you will see from this website, we offer several ways of sharing our Alberta with you.
